A mum who earns £1,000 a week as a delivery driver has completed a challenge of delivering for 24 hours straight - and made £330 doing 77 drop-offs. Mum-of-one Atlanta Martin, 22, quit her job as a flight dispatcher last year after finding she could rake in up to a grand a week by putting in 11-hour days as a delivery driver.
Joined by her boyfriend, Benjamin Hasker, 36, who also works as a delivery driver, the couple decided to set themselves a challenge of delivering packages for 24 hours straight. Starting at 7am on a Tuesday morning, the pair set off delivering orders from Just Eat, UberEats, Beelivery, Deliveroo and Gophr across Worthing in Sussex from their car.
They changed to purely delivering for Uber Eats and Deliveroo at 10pm across Brighton and carried on going through the night until 7am on the Wednesday morning when the challenge finished. The duo kept themselves going by taking it turns to drive and snacking on Domino's, fizzy drinks and croissants with the occasional toilet break at a local McDonald's.
