A mum has spent eight hours in a prison cell after attacking an intruder who 'threatened her child'.
Bethany Leese, 21, used a hammer in 'self-defence' when four people turned up at her house in Milton, Stoke-on-Trent Live reports.
The incident saw two properties on Millrise Road cordoned off, with police remaining at the scene for six hours.
