A mum who was drinking three litres of vodka a day was warned she had just one day to live at the height of her addiction.

Charlotte Durcan, 30, from Lancashire, says she was a teetotal three years before her addiction reached its peak, reports the Manchester Evening News..

But the self-confessed 'extremist', had spiralled out of control within 36 months and was in danger of losing her life due to the volume of alcohol she was consuming.
