Mum fumes as 'insensitive' TUI staff call airport chaos 'enjoyable day out'

A mum looking forward to celebrating her 50th birthday in Greece says she was left "fuming" and close to "tears" after being told her flight was cancelled by "insensitive" TUI staff.

Sarah Butterworth had spent a year organising the £2,100 girls trip to Parva, with the group arriving at Manchester Airport for their flight on Wednesday, June 1.

However, the mum-of-three said she "wanted to cry" when a TUI employee informed them that their dream holiday was cancelled as they stood waiting in the check-in line, the Mirror reports.
