A mum who woke up one day with an innocent-looking spot felt a skin-crawling “pop” a few days later as a “ parasite with legs” crawled out of her eyelid.
Louise Edwards got out of bed on Friday, July 22, with what looked like an normal spot on her left eye.
The 34-year-old mum just assumed she had been bitten by some sort of bug and thought nothing of it, the Liverpool Echo reports .
