A mum who regularly shares top travel tips has shared how to bag yourself a two-day stay in Magaluf for less than the price of a night out in Manchester.
Holiday expert The Travel Mum, who shares tips, advice, and tutorials as well as travel services, has revealed how she and a friend managed to spend less than £150 on everything during their one-night stay in Magaluf.
After getting £20 return flights, they arrived in Spain at 10 am, with a full day still ahead of them. They'd flown in from the East Midlands on a Ryanair flight, and she's advised the budget airline does "great times leaving early in the week and coming back late the next day."
The friends had paid £40 per person to stay at Apartamentos Vistasol, located a short four-minute walk from Magaluf beach, and spent £6 each way on the bus from and to the airport.
For their lunch on arrival, the friends enjoyed a pint of beer, chips and cheese, a salad and a chicken tikka wrap each, all for just £9.

Keen to keep the prices of their drinks low, the pals, who documented their spending in a TikTok video, decided on "duty-free voddy" (which they bought for £6.50 each), opting to buy mixers at the shop or while out.
While relaxing on their balcony, the pair enjoyed a £1 packet of Lays - a true holiday staple - washed down nicely with a £3 can of Monster Ultra White energy drink.
They then headed to the Oceans Beach Club for a £10 cocktail each, before splashing out £25 each on dinner by the beach with a cocktail.
The Travel Mum - who goes by the TikTok username @thetravelmum - admitted this evening treat was an "unnecessarily excessive expense if on a really tight budget."
The next morning, they had breakfast on the beach for £15 each, which again she noted was "excessive", and they could have spent less.
Then it was time to hit the beach, with the duo splashing out £6 each for a sun lounger and umbrella. They went on to enjoy the rest of the day on the beach, before returning home to the UK.
Responding in the comment section, the travel expert said: "We could have eaten tonnes cheaper, but this wasn’t a super tight trip for us, we wanted to be a tad fancy."
She also revealed she'd booked the flights just a few weeks before, advising followers to "keep an eye out for Ryanair sales."
The video has since been watched more than 671.3k times and counting, with many followers inspired by her budget approach.
One impressed person commented: "Why more people don't do this I have no idea."
Another joked: "Stop telling people, they'll put the prices up! To be fair, that looks great."
