A 35-year-old mum was left 'embarrassed and angry' after an Aldi cashier refused to let her buy booze. The mum-of-three was shopping with her daughters, picking up groceries and home essentials.
But when the salon owner got to the till she was told she wasn't allowed to buy bottles of ale and lager unless her children also showed ID. Kelly told LancsLive it was clear that the drinks weren’t for Courtney, 17, and Bethany, 15.
But she also said that staff initially believed she was actually their friend rather than their mum. She added the whole experience left her confused and frustrated.
