Mum arrested after 7-year-old girl's body found decaying in closet in abandoned flat

Police DeKalb County

A mum has been arrested after the rotting body of her seven-year-old daughter was found decaying in a closet in an abandoned apartment.

Police in Georgia nabbed Alondra Hobbs, 27, and charged her with felony murder and cruelty in the second degree.

A police spokeswoman, Officer Elise Wells, said Hobbs was at a hospital Friday.
