A mum was given a shock diagnosis after falling ill on holiday, and putting her symptoms down to age.
Sally Newton, 62, is now encouraging others to get checked out. She was sent off a bowel screening test she received in the post a month before being scheduled for a colonoscopy, reports Belfast Live.
While on holiday with family, she began to feel 'exhausted and out of breath'. The situation escalated when she almost fainted, and immediately booked in to see her GP once she returned home to Newtownards, Co Down, in Northern Ireland.
