The heartbroken family of an "incredible" mum-of-two who was found dead at her home have paid tribute to a "selfless, loyal and supportive" woman. Laura Rogers was found unresponsive at her home on May 21, last year. The 33-year-old was found entangled in a baby bouncer.
An inquest was held to determine the circumstances surrounding the student midwife's death. The inquest heard the mum suffered from anxiety after giving birth to her two children but had sought help and was prescribed medication which she responded to quickly. Laura was due to resume her studies at Teesside University - something her family said she was looking forward to.
Her loved ones told Teesside Live they believe her death was an "accident" and said she was committed to her two children. Giving evidence at the hearing, Laura's mum Nicola said she became concerned when she hadn't heard from Laura on the morning of May 21.
