Young mum who thought she had IBS now has months to live

A mum who thought her symptoms were due to IBS was later given a devastating diagnosis.

Delilah May, who lives in Skelmersdale, with her three-year-old son Jake, was experiencing bloating which would not go away in March last year. The 27-year-old said she started to suspect something was not quite right.

The pain started to get worse between March and July 2021 and Delilah said she started having severe back pain, reports LancsLive. The mum claimed paracetamol "would not touch" and noticed it was impacting on her role as a mum as the pain got even more excruciating.
