Multiple websites go offline after critical PHP security flaw; FBI urges immediate updates. Here's what you should do

Multiple websites across the anime, gaming and online forum communities have reportedly gone offline for emergency maintenance after two critical vulnerabilities were identified in PHP, a programming language used to power websites and web applications.

The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has urged organisations to immediately update affected PHP installations or take vulnerable systems offline until the security issues are fully addressed.
