Multiple salmonella cases confirmed in Scotland amid deadly UK-wide outbreak

MULTIPLE cases of salmonella have been confirmed in Scotland as part of a UK-wide outbreak which has left one person dead and hundreds ill.

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) said 207 cases have been identified across the UK between August 11 last year and the beginning of this month.
