The Palm Beach County Fire Rescue responded to distress calls, with some individuals found trapped under debris or stuck in overturned vehicles due to the powerful winds.
Emergency 911 calls began flooding in around 5 p.m. and continued for nearly an hour, keeping the fire rescue teams on high alert. Upon arrival, the rescue crews encountered a scene of destruction, with several homes damaged, vehicles displaced, and debris scattered across the affected area.
