KOLKATA: A one-and-a half hour’s journey between Kolkata and Patna spanned over eight hours for 100-odd passengers as an IndiGo flight that was scheduled to take off at 2.20pm left the airport late in the evening, following multiple rescheduled departure times.
Airline officials said that poor weather over north east had held back several flights of the carrier which led to the late arrival of incoming aircraft to Kolkata leading to the delay. Twitter was abuzz with frustrated flyers, who tagged IndiGo, AAI and civil aviation minister Jyotiraditya Scindia for a redressal.
