Derby car incident: Counterterror police assist investigation after seven seriously injured when vehicle hit multiple people

Counterterrorism officers are helping police investigate after seven people were seriously injured when a car drove into pedestrians in Derby city centre.

A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, causing serious injury through dangerous driving, inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent, and dangerous driving, following the incident.
