'Astounding': shop-front crash could have been fatal, first responders say

An ACT Road Policing officer is desperately pleading with Canberra drivers to think of others after a shop front crash left multiple people injured in Weston.

Detective Sergeant Jonathan Turkich and his team are investigating a crash at Cooleman Court where a car reportedly lost control and crashed into a massage business about 11.45am on Friday, October 9.

"We've had a very, very serious incident occur today. We are thankful at this stage that people are in a stable condition ...," Detective Sergeant Turkich said.
