Several Democratic House members and one Democratic senator have urged President Joe Biden to withdraw from his reelection campaign. This group includes representatives from competitive congressional districts, as well as senior Democrats on influential committees and members in safe Democratic seats.

While some Democrats have not explicitly called for Biden to end his campaign, they have expressed concerns about his chances of winning or have remained undecided. However, over 70 members of the House and Senate have publicly reiterated their support for Biden as the party's presidential nominee, despite his poor debate performance last month.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries have publicly backed Biden's reelection bid, along with more than 70 other lawmakers. Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a highly influential figure in the party, has privately shared her concerns about Biden's campaign.
