A multi-car crash caused miles of traffic on the M56 this morning.
Emergency services were called to a crash between junction 14 and junction 12 eastbound on the motorway. The crash involved a black Volkswagen Tiguan, a black Ford Focus and a blue BMW.
Two other vehicles, a flatbed transporter and a white Renault van, were also damaged in the crash. Police have confirmed that no injuries have been reported.

The motorway is currently closed while recovery work takes place. It has been closed since the crash, at around 5.40am on Tuesday, December 6.
Highways England reported that at one point, traffic stretched back for more than seven miles with delays of more than an hour. Driver are being urged to avoid the area.
A spokesperson for Cheshire police said: "Officers were called at around 5.40am today (Tuesday 6 December) to the M56 between junction 14 to 12 eastbound following reports of a collision involving a black Volkswagen Tiguan, a black Ford Focus and a blue BMW.
"Two other vehicles also sustained damage, a flatbed transporter and a white Renault van. No injuries have been reported. Drivers are warned to expect delays while clean-up takes place."
