Popular pizzeria Rudy’s Neapolitan Pizza has announced it will be opening a brand new restaurant in Chorlton this June.
The new restaurant will take over the former Lloyds Bank on Barlow Moor Road and will continue to serve up their popular pizzas, famous for being cooked for 60 seconds in a hand-built stone pizza oven.
The business has been serving up a range of authentically cooked pizzas since 2015 and first opened its doors in Ancoats, Manchester. Since then, the pizzeria has opened other sites in Greater Manchester and also Soho, Liverpool, Leeds and Birmingham.

Born out of passion for pizza, Rudy’s follows the authentic Neapolitan tradition of pizza making, serving classic recipes such as Marinara, Margherita and Calabrese – all originating from Naples, the birthplace of pizza.
Rudy’s is famed for its approach to Naples-style pizza and was hailed as the tenth best pizza in the world by Big 7. The new site, which is the 10th opened by the business, will seat up to 60 guests inside and will be complete with covered outdoor dining area for those who want to eat outside during summer.
Their new South Manchester site comes just a year after they opened a branch in Sale, and also marks part of their plans to expand across Greater Manchester.
Speaking on the new opening, Max, General Manager of Rudy’s Chorlton said: “We’re really excited to bring Rudy’s to the Chorlton neighbourhood.
“It won’t be long before we are able to fire up the oven and serve delicious Neapolitan pizza. As a team we can’t wait to become part of the community.”
To mark the launch this summer, the restaurant will be giving away a limited amount of pizzas for free. To secure yours, readers are encouraged to sign up for the pizzeria’s newsletter here.
