MTV worker tells court of moment Russell Brand allegedly ‘dragged her towards toilet’

  • A former MTV worker testified that Brand forcefully grabbed her arm and tried to drag her into a men's toilet for a sexual encounter in 2001.
  • The witness described Brand turning into a "wild-eyed maniac" during the alleged incident before she managed to wrench herself free.
  • She explained that she did not report the encounter at the time to protect her job, but decided to report it to the police in 2023.
  • Brand denies all charges against him, maintaining that any encounters were consensual and have since been reimagined by his accusers.
