Celebs were out in force in the Californian sunshine on Sunday as they took to the red carpet for this year's MTV Movie & TV Awards.

This year's event is taking place at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica and sees some of the biggest names in showbiz come together.

As they started to strut their stuff on the red carpet at the event it was Paris Hilton who took the main plaudits for a stunning display in a fitted and sparkly light blue number.
