Former MAGA loyalist Marjorie Taylor Greene has blasted President Trump over his decision to launch missile strikes against Iran.
U.S. and Israeli military forces began bombing targets in the Islamic Republic on Saturday, with Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei being killed in the air strikes.
So far, six U.S. service members have died since the war began.
Greene unloaded on the president during an appearance on The Megyn Kelly Podcast Monday, stating, “We’ve got American troops being killed.”
“I wanna say, what is happening to the man that I supported, you supported?” Greene seethed. “The man that denounced what happened in Iraq? The man that said, ‘No more foreign wars, no more regime change?’
“Promised it on the campaign. JD Vance promised it. Tulsi Gabbard promised it. All of them promised it.”
Continuing her rant, Greene claimed that the United States was embroiled in “another f***ing war” and asked the country to have a “serious conversation” about “who in the hell are these decisions being made for.”
Megyn Kelly also criticized the conflict, particularly regarding Trump’s claim that Iran’s vast army could lay down its arms.
“Based on what?” she asked, bluntly.
During the interview, Greene questioned the president’s admitted goal of regime change, arguing that a bomb killing over “100 little girls” at an Iranian school was “not really good for Iranian women.”
“And our president is saying that the Iranian people are all of a sudden going to topple their regime,” she continued. “Well, I don’t think the Iranian people are going to be toppling their regime when they’re getting blown apart by the United States and Israel in an unprovoked attack.”
The former Georgia representative was once a staunch Trump loyalist, known for repeating conspiracy theories about the January 6 Capitol Riots and voicing support for the QAnon movement.

However, late last year, Greene split from Trump by doubling down on calling for the release of files related to the convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
In response, the president dubbed her “Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown” for being one of the first Republicans to break ranks in calling for the files to be unsealed.
Greene eventually announced that she was resigning from her office, stating that she refused to be a “battered wife,” by defending Trump in exchange for support in a primary election.

The former congresswoman took another swipe at Trump on Monday, pointing out her years of loyalty to the president.
“I was out there on the front lines for Make America Great Again,” she claimed. “And Make America Great Again was supposed to be America First, not Israel First, not any foreign country First, not any foreign people First, but the American people First and our problems.”
On social media, Greene also criticized Vice President JD Vance while responding to claims that he had persuaded Trump into launching attacks on Iran.
“They hate JD,” she claimed. “They don’t ever want him to be President. So now that they f***ed up so bad and they are getting our military members killed for Israel, it’s JD’s fault.
“Not Trump’s fault,” Greene continued. “Or any of the neocons screaming 24/7 in his ear. What’s the truth?”
In response to Greene’s comments, White House spokesperson Davis Ingle told The Independent that the Trump administration does not “have time for quitters.”
“Former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene quit on her constituents and the America First movement in the middle of her term,” Ingle said. “President Trump is fighting every single day to Make America Great Again – we don’t have time for quitters.”

Meanwhile, Trump has doubled down on supporting the conflict in Iran.
During a CNN interview on Monday, he claimed, “We haven’t even started hitting them hard.”
“The big wave hasn’t even happened,” he continued. “The big one is coming soon.”
The president also told The New York Times that the conflict could go on for “four to five weeks” and admitted that he has “three very good choices” about who could succeed Ayatollah Khamenei.
The Independent has contacted the Department of Defense and the White House for comment.
