A unit that has lately been a weakness for the Spartans may actually be a positive this year.
Michigan State head coach Jonathan Smith was at Big Ten Football Media Days on Wednesday and he shared some positive news about the offensive line. Smith was quoted by Kenny Jordan of On3 stating he’s “optimistic” about the Spartans’ offensive line unit.
Michigan State will have some new faces up front with a number of players transferring in and out this past offseason. Hearing that Smith is optimistic about the group, though, is refreshing for fans since Michigan State has struggled up front over the past few years.
