MSU Football reportedly showing interest in UMass transfer WR

Michigan State football has reportedly contacted a wide receiver in the transfer portal.

The Spartans are one of a few teams that have reportedly contacted former UMass wide receiver Anthony Simpson. Simpson entered the transfer portal earlier this month, and has heard from Michigan State, Syracuse and Georgia since entering the portal.

Simpson started his career at Arizona where he played two seasons before transferring to UMass. Last year, he recorded 57 receptions for 792 yards and three touchdowns.

Michigan State has been connected to a few players that have entered the portal already. Indiana transfer wide receiver Donaven McCulley was another player that Michigan State reportedly contacted recently.
