Michigan State football didn’t have much onfield success in 2023, but they still made a boatload of money.
Sportico released a ranking of the top 50 revenue-generating programs in the country for 2023, and Michigan State was listed in the top 20. The Spartans came in at No. 17 with $90 million in revenue.
Compared to other Big Ten schools, Michigan State was No. 6 in the league behind Michigan, Ohio State, Nebraska, Penn State and Wisconsin.
