Michigan State football has extended a scholarship to a top 40 edge rusher in the 2026 class.
Landon Bland of Carthage, Mo. announced on Wednesday that he’s received a scholarship offer from the Spartans. He is a three-star edge rusher in the 2026 class.
Bland ranks as the No. 35 edge rusher in 247Sports’ rankings for the class. He’s also listed as the No. 5 player from Missouri in the class.
Bland holds scholarship offers from nearly 10 programs, according to 247Sports. Other programs to offer him besides Michigan State includes Illinois, Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Nebraska, Purdue and Wisconsin.
