MSU football at Indiana: Can Spartans earn a road win over Hoosiers?

Can Michigan State pick up their second conference win of the year on Saturday?

The Spartans head to Indiana on Saturday, looking to earn just their second Big Ten win of the season. Both the Spartans are 3-7 overall and 1-6 in Big Ten play this year.

Michigan State enters this game off a blowout loss at Ohio State, while Indiana lost a heartbreaker against Illinois in overtime last weekend. The loser of this matchup will finish in last place of the Big Ten East Division.

Prediction: MSU 21, Indiana 17

It was a rough day at the office for the Spartans on Saturday. But Indiana is not exactly Ohio State. I think Sparty can win this one.

Prediction: MSU 27, Indiana 23

It may sound crazy, but I actually believe MSU is going to get up for this game and come with a lot of energy. In a lost season, having a trophy game can bring a team to rally together, and I think they will. MSU wins a tight one.

Prediction: MSU 27, Indiana 24

Indiana has looked like the better team in recent weeks, with a victory over Wisconsin and close losses to Penn State and Illinois. But Michigan State has the slight talent advantage and has proven it can hang with the lower-tier competition in this league. So I like Michigan State to win at least one more game and avoid landing in the basement of the Big Ten East Division this year.
