MSU Basketball vs. Baylor: Stream, broadcast info, prediction for Saturday

It’s do-or-die time for Michigan State basketball.

The Spartans will head to Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on Saturday looking to save their season in a non-conference matchup against the top 10 undefeated Baylor Bears. Michigan State enters this game off yet another disappointing loss last time out against Nebraska, and looking for a marquee win to get their season back on track.

Michigan State enters this matchup sitting at 4-5 overall and 0-2 in Big Ten play. The Spartans’ brutal start to the season has many wondering if this preseason top-five team will even be able to make the NCAA Tournament this year.

Baylor, on the flip side, has looked like one of the best teams in the country all year long. The Bears hold a perfect 9-0 record on the year and rank nationally at No. 6.

Can Michigan State get their season back on track with a monster non-conference win on Saturday? Check out my prediction and all of the key game details for this matchup between the Spartans and Bears below:

Game Prediction

Prediction: MSU 74, Baylor 71

If not now, then when? Michigan State’s backs are officially up against the wall and this feels like a game that if they don’t find a way to win then their impressive NCAA Tournament streak will be coming to an end in March.

It’s only December but this is a massively important game for the Spartans and I’m going to buy into the Hall of Fame coach in Tom Izzo putting together his best gameplan and getting the best effort out of his guys in this one. As I said in the first sentence, it’s do-or-die time for the Spartans. This team isn’t ready to be dead…
