Michigan State moved up in the latest USA TODAY Coaches Poll but is still just outside the top 25 for another week.
The Spartans picked up more votes in this week’s poll and now sit four spots outside the top 25 at No. 29. The updated poll was released on Monday.
The Big Ten only had two teams appear in this week’s poll, with Purdue dropping from No. 1 to No. 3 and Wisconsin dropping from No. 15 to No. 18. Illinois, Indiana and Ohio State all dropped out of the top 25 this week.
