Michigan State basketball is one of two schools showing the most interest in four-star combo guard Alex Lloyd of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Lloyd told Hitmen Hoops Scouting that Michigan State and Florida Atlantic are “the schools talking to (me) the most.” He also considers Duke to be his dream school.
Lloyd ranks as the No. 8 combo guard and No. 49 overall prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2025 class. He’s also the No. 8 player from Florida.
Michigan State has yet to extend a scholarship offer to Lloyd. According to 247Sports, he holds offers from seven schools so far — Dayton, Florida Atlantic, Florida Gulf Coast, Florida State, IUPUI, Miami (FL) and St. John’s.
