Ms Rachel has pledged $1 million (£748,000) to support Palestinian children, matching Macklemore's donation and turning the fallout from his removal from Ed Sheeran's Loop Tour into a wider celebrity fundraising call.
The children's entertainer announced the pledge on Thursday, 17 September, saying she would donate the money to the Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF), where she serves as Global Brand Ambassador.
Ms Rachel Matches Macklemore's $1M Donation
Ms Rachel, whose real name is Rachel Anne Accurso, said she would match the $1 million (£748,000) Macklemore pledged from his net earnings from Sheeran's Loop Tour.
'I will match Macklemore's donation and I invite every wealthy white celebrity to match it and speak out against the genocide in Gaza,' she wrote.

She also said that more than 20,000 Palestinian children had been killed, adding that people with privilege and public platforms had a 'moral obligation' to protect children and human rights.
PCRF, which describes Ms Rachel as its Global Brand Ambassador, welcomed the pledge and said the funds would support children needing surgery, medication and other medical care.

Ms Rachel Challenges Wealthy Celebrities
Ms Rachel also invited 'every wealthy white celebrity' to match the donation. The challenge came shortly after Macklemore pledged his entire $1 million (£748,000) in net earnings from the Loop Tour to six organisations supporting Palestinians.
He named PCRF, HEAL Palestine, Gaza Soup Kitchen, Medical Aid for Palestinians, the UNRWA USA National Committee and Anera as the organisations he planned to support.
Macklemore also challenged Robert Kraft, the billionaire owner of the New England Patriots and Gillette Stadium, to match his donation.

Kraft subsequently said he would commit $2 million (£1.5 million), explaining that Sheeran had contacted him before Macklemore's public challenge and asked him to commit the money to humanitarian aid in the region. Sheeran and Kraft have each pledged $2 million (£1.5 million), although they have not publicly specified the recipients.

The Loop Tour Fallout
The donations follow Macklemore's removal from Sheeran's remaining US tour dates following his pro-Palestinian remarks at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium on 4 and 5 September.

During the performances, Macklemore said 'Free Palestine', discussed Gaza and the occupied West Bank, and performed his protest song 'Hind's Hall'.
Messina Touring Group said venues had indicated they would not allow Macklemore to perform. Sheeran later said the decision to remove him was made by the promoter rather than by him.
The controversy also led four acts associated with the tour, Finneas, Lukas Graham, Aaron Rowe and Beoga, to withdraw.
Ms Rachel's Gaza Advocacy
Ms Rachel had already spoken publicly about Macklemore's removal, criticising Sheeran and arguing that 'silence during a genocide is not neutral.'
She later defended her continued advocacy for Palestinians despite backlash, saying the criticism would not deter her from speaking about Gaza.
Her latest pledge now adds a financial commitment to that advocacy, with the $1 million (£748,000) earmarked for PCRF.
The publicly announced pledges and humanitarian aid commitments now total $6 million (£4.5 million).
The specific recipients of Sheeran and Kraft's combined pledge had not been disclosed when the report was published.
