NEW DELHI: Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the iconic former captain of Chennai Super Kings, showcased his batting brilliance in the ongoing Indian Premier League in yet another display of big-hitting prowess. Despite CSK's loss to the Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Dhoni's blistering cameo left a significant mark on the tournament's history.
During his unbeaten 11-ball 26, Dhoni unleashed three towering sixes, elevating his overall tally of IPL sixes to an impressive 251. This feat places him on par with the South African cricketing maestro, AB de Villiers. Dhoni achieved this milestone in his 228 IPL innings, while de Villiers accomplished the feat in 170 innings.
