Mrs Hinch fans swear by hack to get sparkling toilet that 'doesn’t cost a thing'

Few things can make your home feel more welcoming than a spring clean, and no freshen up is complete with tackling the bathroom.

Yet even with a freshly mopped floor and scrubbed shower tiles, the bathroom can still feel a bit grotty unless you tackle the limescale in the toilet bowl, as The Express reports.

Now, fans of cleaning sensation Mrs Hinch have been sharing their top tips on social media and one recent Facebook post shared a hack they 'swear by' for bringing your toilet back up to scratch.

They said all you need is a two pence piece, and to scrub at the limescale with the copper coin until it all comes free from the porcelain - simple.

Fans set up a cleaning tips Facebook page in tribute to Mrs Hinch, and one woman recently visited the site to ask for advice for dealing with a limescale build up.

One woman wrote: "I’m trying to remove heavy limescale build-up from the bottom of my toilet bowl. Have used white vinegar, on joy and 24 hours with Spirits of Salt which shifted some but not all. Any suggestions?"
