Cleaning your bathroom might feel like a chore, but it's one of the most important areas to keep sparkling as the regular presence of water in the room can make it a prime location for mould to start growing if left untreated.
Mould can be easy enough to get rid of on smooth surfaces, but what about when it works its way into hard-to-reach areas such as the grout between your tiles? Traditional cleaning methods don't always work on the stubborn mould that squeezes between your tiles, so it can feel impossible to get clean.
Thankfully though, fans of cleaning guru Mrs Hinch - real name Sophie Hinchliffe - have shared a series of methods that could make cleaning your grout a breeze - and one trick only costs around £1.50.
The tips were shared on a Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips page on Facebook after one woman asked: ''Can anyone advise any cleaning advice to remove the grout stains on my bathroom window and the seal on the edge of my bath?''
Before long, the woman was inundated with responses from cleaning fans eager to help, with several people suggesting a cheap and easy method that they claimed works wonders.
The trick involves wiping bleach onto the mould using a cotton wool pad, and leaving it to sit for a while before cleaning it off - taking the bleach and the mould away in one easy wipe.
One person commented: "Bleach and cotton wool pads and leave for 24 hours."
While another added: "Saw someone on TV put some bleach on cotton wool and place it on the mould. Leave for about 20-30 minutes then take off and the mould has gone."
Bleach can be bought from Tesco for 60p for a 750ml bottle, while a packet of 35 cotton wool pads from Superdrug for 99p, meaning the trick will cost you a total of £1.59.
Other commenters hailed HG mould spray as a game-changing product for cleaning your tile grout, but that will cost you a bit more, as bottles start at £5.50 at both Tesco and Amazon.
Someone wrote: "HG Mould Spray Remover. Open the window, spray, wait 30 minutes and rinse, walk away. It's really as difficult as that! It works on all mould and staining everywhere except unpainted wood. Original and best."
As someone else agreed, posting: "I'd try HG mould spray on it."
Further recommendations included using Cillit Bang, Viakal, and Dettol.
