If you are a pet owner, you know the feeling of retuning home from work to find an unwanted present from your furry friend sat on top of the carpet. Whether your pet is ill or just ate too much, every pet owner will have to clean up a carpet stain at some point.
Staining from pet vomit or poo is notoriously difficult to get out. You have to be careful not to use harsh chemicals or scrub too hard, especially on newer carpets.
Mrs Hinch fans have recommended a miracle product to remove pet stains from carpet. They came to the rescue after a group member had a mishap with her dog.

Mrs Hinch, whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe, gained popularity after sharing ingenious cleaning tips and recommendations on social media and TV. The cleaning enthusiast has managed to gain over 4.4 million followers on Instagram and has also authored several books.
Mrs Hinch fan groups on Facebook have hundreds of thousands of members who help each other with cleaning hacks for problems around the home. Jennifer Blyth asked one Facebook fan group: "Gutted my dog was sick on our new grey hall carpet. Tried everything but left it with a horrible stain. Someone suggested using WD40 but I’m too nervous….help please".
Some Mrs Hinch fans told Jennifer to avoid any DIY methods of cleaning the stain, telling her to bring in a professional to prevent ruining the carpet. Others, however, suggested a number of different products. One popular recommendation was Dr Beckmann carpet cleaner.
Janet Hulme said: "Dr Beckmann is great for dog sick. My daughter has a pale pearl coloured carpet and the dog has been sick a few times on it. Dr Beckmann has always got it out."
Stephen Paget said: "Dr Beckmann in the bottle for carpets and upholstery it has a sponge and brush on the top. My dog vomited illuminous yellow bile on my light grey carpet and you'd never know once I used that product. It's my go to for dog related stains."
Michelle Baker added: "I have two dogs and Dr Beckmann does it all. Sick, poo the lot."
The £3.59 Dr Beckmann product was highly regarded amongst the group. Other group members had different suggestions. One common answer was to use Fairy liquid to remove the stain.
Emma Louise said: "Fairy liquid in warm water - just a squeeze is enough. Let some of the soapy water soak into the stain for a few mins, then rub in a circular motion. Try and get some of the stain up into the froth and remove to your bowl. To finish press down on the stain with paper towels. I always find this method works wonders."
