Mrs Brown's Boys star Danny O'Carroll feels better in himself and he loves the way he looks after losing a whopping three stone.
The much-loved actor, who plays the character of Buster Brady, was feeling sorry for himself in the pandemic before turning to running and watching his food intake with nutrition app MyFitnessPal. And like many of us, his biggest vice is chocolate.
Danny's weight loss has also helped his mental health. Danny told RSVP Magazine : "I was sitting around feeling sorry for myself in the pandemic, wondering what I was going to do with no work.

"I don’t know what it is about running, it puts you into a world of your own, you feel confident and you feel like everything is going to be fine.
"For anyone struggling with their mental health, I would advise them to take up running. From there, I need to get back on [the nutrition app] MyFitnessPal.
"I try to watch what I am eating but I love food and I am addicted to chocolate. I try to get to bed early, before I start getting hungry but that can be hard to do."
Danny is very honest about how hard weight loss can be and, for me, it is all about mindset. He said: "I am hanging in there. I am barely keeping the weight off, but I’m getting back into the mind frame of getting fit again.
"I am back in the gym and out running again. I am happy with the way I look now, I am not toned but I am happy.
"I was very heavy, I was 14-and-a-half stone at 5ft 8in and now I’m at 11-and-a-half stone." Danny has teamed up with his Mrs. Brown's Boys co-star Paddy Houlihan to film RTE travel show High Road, Low Road in Amsterdam.
She said: "I didn’t realise how separated Paddy and I were going to be when they revealed who was getting the luxury trip and who wasn’t.
"I thought we would perform it for the camera and then meet up for our holiday in the evenings.
"But the cameras were on us from the minute we got up until we went to bed that night. I spent a long time cycling around Amsterdam with a flat wheel!"
Danny had been to Amsterdam once once before and he saw a very different side to the Dutch city. He said: "I went with my dad to see Ireland play Holland when I was 11 or 12.
"The holiday I had was completely different from other people’s experiences. The city has a name for drugs and the Red Light District. What I saw of it was stunning."
