Rossendale & Darwen MP Sir Jake Berry has described the moment a woman who had become fixated on him turned up at his home with a suitcase hoping to run away with him.
In a candid interview, Sir Jake touched on his battle with depression and how his wife - a former aide to Boris Johnson - dealt with post-natal depression. The Conservative MP, who was first elected in 2010 when he ousted Labour's Janet Anderson, married his second wife Alice in May 2018.
The couple have three children together and live in Rossendale. Speaking about the darker side of being an MP, Sir Jake then told broadcaster Gloria De Piero about his stalker.
