BHOPAL: The state Congress on Tuesday raised questions on chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s promise to Prime Minister Narendra Modi that Madhya Pradesh will contribute $550 billion towards making India a $5 trillion economy.
In the first Niti Aayog physical meeting held after 2019 in New Delhi on August 7 which was chaired by PM Modi, chief minister Chouhan claimed that Madhya Pradesh will provide major support towards making India the $5 trillion economy. The chief minister said that the state’s economy will be the $550 billion in the country’s economic success.
