As someone obsessed with all things color, I can’t help but get excited when September rolls around – it’s the season when my favorite paint brands unveil their Color of the Year.

This time, Glidden has made its color trend prediction, and neutrals might finally have some competition. For 2026, the renowned brand has crowned Warm Mahogany (PPG1060-7) – a deeply warm red with subtle brown undertones – as its shade of the year.
