Mondraker USA is recalling mountain bicycles fitted with ONOFF S9 carbon handlebars after five reports that the bars broke, two of which involved a rider falling.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the handlebars "may crack or fracture during use," which can cause a loss of control and a fall. The agency's notice, issued September 3, tells owners to stop riding affected bikes immediately.
