KOLKATA: Veteran Achanta Sharath Kamal and Mouma Das taught the youngsters a trick or two as they ended up as the champion and runners-up in the men’s and women’s singles respectively of the 83rd Senior National and Inter-State Table Tennis Championships that concluded at the SAI Indoor Stadium in Shillong on Monday.
Sharath, who will turn 40 this July and 38 years old Mouma, entered the finals recording identical scores of 4-2 victories over Manush Shah of Gujarat and Reeth Rishya (PSPB) in their respective semifinal clashes.
