Motsi Mabuse has teased this series of Strictly Come Dancing will be the most 'brilliant' ever.
The judge is returning for the upcoming 20th series of the BBC One show alongside fellow judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood and new permanent judge Anton du Beke. Strictly's new series will see some of the fan favourite professionals including Johannes Radebe, Amy Dowden, Giovanni Pernice and Katya Jones all returning alongside some new faces.
The new series of Strictly will kick off later this month, as the likes of Helen Skelton, Kym Marsh and Will Mellor take to the dancefloor in the hope they'll become this year's Strictly champion. The Glitterball trophy is in their sights.
Speaking to hosts Ronan Keating and Alex Jones on The One Show today, she said: "It's going to be bigger and better, it’s exciting. We have the most fantastic professionals, I saw them rehearse, I can’t wait for everyone to see it.
"And everything is coming back, Blackpool is coming back, and some celebrations, so it’s going to be brilliant, I can’t wait – the audience is coming back, and I’ll see my judge friends."
The upcoming series launch show begins on September 17, and some the celebrities have admitted their nerves ahead of the series.
Speaking about the series, Countryfile presenter Helen said: "I’m really excited to get stuck into a fun adventure. My family and friends have always loved the show and can’t wait for me to get started," whilst Will Mellor added of his stint on the show: "I'm honestly so chuffed to be taking part in Strictly this year! Not going to lie, it's totally out of my comfort zone and I know it will be a huge challenge but that's what life is all about. This is also my Mum's favourite show and she’s had a really tough few years so I'm doing this for her."
Elsewhere Kym Marsh - a self-confessed Strictly fan - admitted she has been considering it for years.
Speaking about the upcoming series, she said: "I've considered doing Strictly for years but the timings never worked out. I'm so delighted that this year they have! I’m a huge fan of the show and can’t believe I’m going to go from watching at home in my pyjamas to actually dancing in front of the judges in a glittery dress, it’s unreal!"
