Motorists in Wales were left furious following a huge caravan transporter that caused miles of tailbacks. The large caravan was being transported through mid Wales and the chaos forced police to intervene.
An oncoming HGV became stuck on a bend as the caravan transporter attempted to pass it and cars were forced into verges to avoid it. The transporter company, James Muntz Transport had police clearance to take the static caravan to Aberystwyth via the A470 before travelling east on the A44 to Caersws, Powys.
However, huge queues developed behind the vehicle and at some points forced traffic to come to a complete stop, North Wales Live reports. When photos of the chaos were shared on social media, it prompted complaints from drivers who ran late for school runs and appointments.
