A motorcyclist who died in a fatal crash on a Scots road has been named by police as James Leonard Meek.
The 27-year-old tragically died on an unclassified road near Moray on Saturday, June 4.
He had been riding a blue Yamahara R6 before the incident took place on an unclassified road between Dallas to Knockando, near Tapp Farm.
Emergency services were rushed to the crash at 10.30am, however James was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
His family has expressed their sincere thanks to the people who stopped to assist in the fatal incident.
Meanwhile, police are appealing to members of the public for information.
In particular, they want to hear from those who may have dash-cam footage.
Road Policing Sergeant Peter Henderson said, “Our thoughts are with James’ family and friends at this sad time.
"Enquiries are ongoing and I ask anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened to please get in touch.
"Drivers who may have captured dashcam footage of the vehicle are also being urged to come forward. ”
