A motorcyclist has been injured in a hit and run collision. The incident took place at around 5pm on Thursday, January 12, at the junction of Queens Road East and Tattershall Drive, Beeston.
A car pulled out in front of the motorcyclist which resulted in a collision. The driver of the car, which appeared to be a dark-coloured Audi A4, then failed to stop.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital and treated for a hand injury which could require surgery. Nottinghamshire Police are appealing for the public for help following the incident so that they can find the driver.

PC Steven Allcock, who is investigating the collision, said: “Although this collision was captured on the motorcyclist's helmet camera, we have not been able to identify the car involved. We are therefore looking to trace anyone who may also have captured the car on dash cam footage.
"Fortunately the victim in this case was not more seriously hurt, but he was understandably very shaken by what happened. We would very much like to speak to the driver of the car and would urge him to come forward."
Anyone who can assist the investigation is asked to call 101 quoting reference 23*28701.
