A motorcyclist ploughed into a bus in a Scottish town before fleeing the scene, prompting a police investigation.
The shocking incident, which led to one passenger being rushed to hospital, took place on Beatty Crescent in Kirkcaldy around 9pm on Sunday, July 7.
Emergency services rushed to the scene following reports of a road traffic collision, with an image from the scene showing a bus windscreen completely smashed.

As the Record reports, officers are now carrying out enquiries to trace the biker who fled the scene before cops arrived. One passenger from the bus was taken to hospital as a precaution.
The bus was left with a hole in the windscreen and parts of the bumper hanging off. A side window was also smashed during the collision.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 9pm on Sunday, 2 July 2023, police were called to a road crash on Beatty Crescent, Kirkcaldy, involving a motorbike and bus. The rider of the motorcycle left the scene before prior police attendance and enquiries are ongoing to trace the person.
"One passenger from the bus attended a local hospital as a precaution. Enquiries in to the cause of the crash are continuing. The road is open."
A spokesperson for Stagecoach East Scotland said: "We can confirm that one of our vehicles was involved in an incident in Kirkcaldy on Sunday evening. Safety is our number one priority, and we are currently assisting the police with their investigation."
