A motorcyclist is in hospital being treated for life-changing injuries after his vehicle was involved in a collision with a car along a busy Swansea road on Mother's Day.
South Wales Police is continuing its investigations into the incident which took place shortly before noon on Sunday, March 27, on the A484 near the roundabout at Loughor Bridge. A 55-year-old man, who was riding a Kawasaki motorbike, is still in hospital in Cardiff receiving treatment for serious injuries, the police force has revealed, as it made an appeal for any witnesses or drivers with dashcam footage to come forward and get in touch. A spokeswoman for the police said: “ South Wales Police is investigating a serious road traffic collision which happened shortly before 12pm on Sunday, March 27, on the A484 near the Loughor Bridge roundabout. The collision involved a red Renault Clio and a Kawasaki motorbike. The driver of the motorbike, a 55 year-old man, was airlifted to University Hospital of Wales where he is being treated for life-changing injuries.
“The road was closed for a number of hours between the B4297 (Yspitty roundabout) and A4240 ( Loughor roundabout). Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed, have mobile footage or dashcam footage of the incident, to contact us by one of the following means quoting 2200100923."
