A motorcyclist has been hospitalised following a 'serious' crash on the A403 in Avonmouth this morning (June 14). The roads were cordoned off for a period of time but reopened once the scene was cleared almost two hours later.
Emergency services were called after reports of a collision between a motorbike and a car between Severn Beach and Pilning at around 10.25am.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Constabulary said: "Officers were called to the A403 in Pilning at about 10.25am this morning (Tuesday June 14) after a collision between a motorbike and a car.

"Police and ambulance crews attended the scene. The motorcyclist has sustained serious injuries and has been taken to hospital. The road was closed but has now been reopened."
