Motherwell striker Connor Shields is likely to be heading to Queen's Park on a loan deal this evening ahead of the January transfer window closure.
The 25-year-old from Coatbridge, who was signed from Queen of the South in may 2021, is also believed to have been a target for St Mirren and Dundee, but has opted to join Championship title-chasing Spiders.
His move is likely to depend on Motherwell bringing in a striker this evening, with Tony Watt rumoured to be returning to Fir Park.
Queen's Park boss Owen Coyle is believed to have held talks with Shields during the week and convinced him to join them.
